Washington, D.C.

People, we face hardships from one party,
transferring power from the American people.
A small group reaped rewards, the people
did not share. Jobs left, factories closed
but citizens have not been celebrated.

Is everyone watching this party control?
Is everyone listening?

A righteous public exists in poverty,
scattered, deprived and robbed. Their pain
enriched American industry, while
our country disappeared over the horizon.

Today a new decree will govern our land.
From this moment on, every decision
will be made to benefit stealing and destroying.

To impose our way of life we will
eradicate the bedrock of our politics.
We will rediscover prejudice,
how good and pleasant it is,
protected by law enforcement and god.

We will accept politicians who are all talk
and no action, constantly complain but
never do anything. Empty talk now can thrive
and prosper, ready to unlock the miseries of tomorrow.
Pride will stir our divisions. Remember that
we all bleed the same or, Americans,
you will be ignored again.
